About Us
Star Training Academy built itself around the provision of security training and associated services for the security industry sector and has been proudly doing that since 2007.
Since then we have evolved into a multi campus educational institution, providing an expanded scope of programs across many potential job roles and industries. We continue to listen to and work with industry stakeholders and clients to shape our training models and improve our delivery.
We have built strategic partnerships with other service providers in the industry as well as working closely with regulators to ensure that our clients are getting the quality education they expect and is required.

- HLTAID011 First Aid – $50
- CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations
- Obtain NSW Class 1ACE Licence
- Eligible to work as an Unarmed Guard, Mobile Guard or Crowd Controller
- Security Training Courses are approved by NSW Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate
White Card
- CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
- Obtain a NSW General Induction Safety card
- Safework NSW approved training provider
- Delivery: Face to Face Training

Had Steve Yates as a teacher and he was the absolute best. Explained things well, and taught us so much. He was friendly and knows what he’s talking about. He is absolute next level with a lot of experience within the industry. Couldn’t recommend him any more than I already do. 10/10. Ask for him if you can as he switches between the Granville and Liverpool branch. His stories are golden too and you’ll learn a bit of history with your security.

After 3 weeks of hard work an dedication, me and my class made it through together. Thanks to our sick trainer Shane Smith who had a unorthodox way of teaching, yet an engaging, entertaining and effective way of teaching. John Stoodley was also an amazing trainer and enjoyed his way of teaching stories too, i’ll honestly miss these blokes and the class that I was in. I recommend going here.
